Hoarding.
What is Hoarding? The definition of a hoarding is basically a fencing system used to enclose a building site whilst construction works take place. They are typically temporary solid fence of panels which are made from timber, metal or composite panels. Hoardings are installed around the perimeter of a building or construction site and have vehicle and/or pedestrian access points. Their primary function is to keep the site secure, but many are used as temporary signage boards to keep the public aware of what’s behind them. Site hoardings are also used to maintain the privacy of the site and therefore the clients’ interests .
Generally we print theses large banners in one piece, and if joins are needed, utilise a high frequency radio welder to provide seamless connection.
Our Service
Billboards Australia offer the complete Site Hoarding solution and are able to take the entire project right through from site survey and measure, to design, print and final installation.
We offer a Design & Print Service whereby we undertake a site survey to establish levels of your existing timber hoarding or posts and rails. Then we originate artwork using your corporate elements and photographs, or we can start from scratch and create a complete corporate identity.
After the design process is completed and artwork approved, we commence printing using a high quality wide format printer, the UV-cured inks ensure long-lasting colour stability even in direct sunlight. A keder edge is then welded to the hoarding banner print using a high frequency radio welder ready to install.
The Billboards Australia installation team then deliver the banners on-site, installing the banner or vinyl to the temporary hoarding or fencing.
